CHRIS studied Archaeology, Ancient History and Classics, and has a post graduate certificate of education. Chris is a qualified Blue Badge Guide for London, the South East and Northumbria. She is an examiner for the Institute of Tourist Guiding in the UK and trains new guides for the City of London. Chris’s interests include travel, the theatre, history, and archaeology.

ISOBEL took a degree in European Literature and French Language and has post graduate qualifications in teaching and journalism. Researching family and local history led to training as a City of London Guide and a London Blue Badge Guide. She reads omnivorously, writes and is a keen amateur photographer.

ANN likes everything connected with food. After 20 years as a serious journalist she now uses her research skills on what Londoners  ate and drank over the centuries. She’s a Blue Badge guide, City of London guide, and when she’s not thinking about food she gardens, reads and entertains her cat.

GILLIAN is a linguist and specialises in managing tour groups. As well as being a Blue Badge Guide accredited for London and the South East, she has led tours throughout Europe and in the Far East, Nepal, Egypt, and South Africa. She spent several years organising ski travel, and when she is not skiing or dancing her passions are theatre and cookery.

TONY studied English Literature and is a specialist on Irish History in London. He has appeared on the highly intellectual quiz programme, a University Challenge. He is of course a qualified Blue Badge Guide and a past chairman of the Association of Professional Tourist Guides.
